Great little where are they now short story to read after 28 Summers.

Totally fine novella sequel but totally unnecessary. I liked the characters of the first book but wasn’t so invested that I felt like there were any loose ends that needed tying. Also I felt like this falsely created too many perfect pairings at the end—some of which made little to no sense and there was zero actual conflict or tension.

Sure, why not!

Not my favorite Elin Hilderbrand book. I loved 28 Summers but this just seemed to try to quickly tie up loose ends from that book. I wish she would have written a sequel novel-length book after 28 Summers. This one was just too rushed though I enjoyed learning what happened to some of the characters after 28 Summers ended.

I enjoyed this as a follow up to 28 Summers. I wouldn't advise reading this as a standalone.

Perfectly solid and delightful reunion with a cast of characters I fell for in 28 Summers. There were moments and storylines that felt a bit too serendipitous, but in the end Hilderbrand made it work. Loved the novella size too - I breezed through in a couple nights before bed and it left me smiling each time. I recommend to anyone who read and enjoyed 28 Summers!

Fun and quick update on characters.

This was a quick follow up to 28 Summers. All of the characters meet in Nantucket in 2023; we get to see where Cooper, Leland, Frey, Jake, Link, Bess and even UDG are in their lives. It’s always nice to revisit characters you already know but this just felt like a whole lot of nothing happened.

Not sure why all the reviews of this are so negative. While entirely unnecessary, I thought it was fun!

I had to read this novella once I found out it was linked to 28 Days.
This novel was short and sweet and it was nice to revisit characters to see what they were up to 3 years later.
