Tremendous. I think the themes presented in this novel were some of the classic ideals of a time travel continuum and the problems that come with it. I think the way that this book differs for me - is that it took those classical problems (meeting yourself, changing the past to effect the future, etc) and it postulated new problems that aren't readily recognized.
I thought I knew what this book was going to be about and I was pleasantly surprised with the twist.

All of which changed my perspective of the genre. In a time where mass market books are vomiting up easy to read word dumps, this book was a refreshing pull from the mundane.

Meu primeiro grande livro de ficção científica e, meu deus, isaac asimov é realmente tudo isso que falam. harlan é um protagonista que você não cria tanta empatia justamente porque ele não foi feito para ser empático e isso é de uma genialidade sem igual. toda a questão da eternidade, todas as reviravoltas, genial.

I enjoyed this book more than I thought I would, and especially because I now see that it is likely the basis for a lot of modern sci-fi concepts or stories. Such as the Marvel Loki show's entire plot -- and I say that lovingly. .
Complex. Took me a while to get into it. About 1/4 of the way through I went back and re-read the opening chapter - which helped me grasp. Nice story. Nice ending twist.
