Uneven plotting. The problem was basically with the character development. The main character, really the only one with much character, changed too suddenly. The plot took a left turn.
The basic SF idea was pretty well done. Time travel agency, basically manipulating history.

O romance não me convenceu, e sempre tinha muitos jargões de física e química que bugavam meu cérebro (sou de humanas rs) mas o final é surpreendente e o conceito de viagem no tempo é explicado didaticamente.
Meu erro foi ter pego este livro pra começar uma Maratona 24h. Acabei demorando mais tempo que eu planejava pra terminá-lo e agora sou basicamente a personificação do Gif da Nazaré calculando hahaha.

This had everything I love about science fiction. Time travel, alternate realities, and paradoxes are three of my favorite things, and The End of Eternity has all of them in abundance. That ending (without spoiling too much) hit me as hard as The Man in the High Castle. How I waited this long to read this book I’ll never know.

This is a fantastic story and a particularly good time travel epic. The glaring problem with this is the blatant sexism- it is very much a product of the times in which it was written.

That sexism is partially resolved by the end of the book, but made reading a bit tiring for major parts of the story. That resolution convinced me to give this 4 instead of 3 stars.

Ok, voy a comenzar diciendo que la trama del libro son los viajes en el tiempo, como los hacen, para que los hacen, quienes los hacen y a donde quieren llegar con los viajes… bueno esa es la trama del libro, si te gustan los saltos temporales lo recomiendo, eso si, me parece que no es un libro para cualquier lector.
Isaac Asimov mais uma vez surpreendendo. Trama cheia de reviravoltas, com um enredo que te faz não querer parar de ler pra saber o próximo passo. Amei a trama. Nem parece que é de 1955. Livraço.
