I was excited to read this, and while I loved the story I'm sad that they took away America's origin story from the original run. It felt too much like Natasha's story and the red room, they even gave her a Yelena.

Retcons are iffy but I’m interested to see where this goes. The writing was solid and I enjoyed the art.

Such a cool read. Super creative, great art, and lots of lovely marvel cameos.

I really liked this comic. I already loved America Chavez from the Young Avengers but I loved her even more in this comic. I just thought the way they had her have a hard time connecting with her new family, was because of the past trauma with her family. And I will say my one critique was that they changed her origin story to become more grounded, I guess, but it just ended up becoming even more confusing. And with America being in MoM and it appears they are going with her original origin, it just makes it seem even more unnecessary. But overall a really fun comic!
