Scott Westerfeld has done it again. An exciting page turner that continues to elevate the stakes of the series. The ending genuinely managed to surprise me. This universe is so rich and interesting, I feel like I could read hundreds of books set in it.

Rafi is SAVAGE. I can’t believe she did all that to her own sister, it hurts my heart. Rafi is like the obsessive abusive stalker boyfriend; she neggs, gaslights, manipulates, and uses Frey to the very end.. down to alienation via murder. Intense.
