Excellent thriller, only thing keeping it from 5 stars is that the pacing got weird in the last third. But this kept me on my toes and I really enjoyed the twisting truths throughout.

Wow. Hard to put down, even though not much truly happens in the first half. A really cool format, having some chapters be described as the documentary script.

Dark twisty and full of turns this was a great fast read by Lisa Jewell. I loved the addition of podcast episodes throughout the story. Kept me super engaged and I devoured this in just a day. One of her best!

Absolutely riveting. I had to pry myself away from it or else I could have happily listened to the whole 10 hours in a row. The audiobook production of this is superb. There were a few troubling things about it, and I wasn’t sure how I felt about the ending, but I’d say 95% of this book rates 5 stars. I think it’s best to go into this not knowing anything/much about the plot, but I feel I should provide the caveat of content warnings (see listed).

I thought this book was fantastic. The use of interesting but unreliable characters has you hooked the entire way through. As you slowly start to figure out what is happening, putting the pieces together to solve the mystery of the main character, you realize that everyone is lying. Not just her. 

The ONLY thing I didn’t like was the fact that they tried to make a literal PEDOPHILE a victim in this book. No thanks.
