I’m still too annoyed about Ruin and Rising to fairly review this. Regardless, the Darkling is badass and I’ll stand by that assertion until the day I die.
The Darkling's first years, before he become the leader of the Grisha and after he has already forgotten his real name. I loved every bit of it and felt that once, he was only a boy...
A good start to a much needed story -- please give me more Darkling.
