More Darkling please!
I’m so happy to know more about him and his early life, and I feel bad for him. The Darkling is one of my favorite characters from the Grisha trilogy, I just felt this weird connection even though he’s supposed to be the villain and all. But the thing is that I can’t help but see him as a man with his reasons, he wanted the grishas to live peacefully and see him as a young man who wanted to fulfill his dreams.
I love him, and I’m so sad and all emotional. I wouldn’t mind reading more and more things related to him, he’s so mysterious and powerful and He really breaks my heart.

I recommend reading shadow and bone to have a better understanding :)

well it was rather short, but i liked it, altough i'll only give it 3 stars because i don't understand most of the lore yet and it was all very confusing. i gathered that the grisha are people born with powers right ? but i'm curious about which ones, does the title shadow and bone is linked to eryk ? or being an amplifier ? i'm eager to read the real big books to know more hehe.

I really liked it to my surprise, it had an unexpect plot because i tought it was about how the darkling made the fold. But its about him and Baghra in the past qhen he was just a child, and i liked him as a teen. It was really interesting to see him like this, not knowing how to do things like the cut. And omg you couldnt imagine my surprise when i read what Amika was doing, i forgive her but omg i trusted her but she wanted to kill the darkling. About the darkling, hes way to smart, he used the cut in himsef so they didnt blame him. Also, he killed Amika omfg

It was just getting good 😕 also why was half the book literally just soc promo? Hello the actual story was like 20 pages tall about short…

But with that out of the way I really did like this! I don’t think it’s enough to make me actually read shadow and bones yet (sorry) but the story wasn’t as sad as I thought it would be tbh
