Wow I’m actually surprised I loved this as much as I did. I haven’t ever tried a mafia romance cuz I thought I’d find it cringey but it was pleasantly surprising. It was really sweet and intense and couldn’t put it down. Curious to look at the other stories by this author in this same universe. Also of course, duet style audiobook and it’s Joe Arden/maxine Mitchell combo which is my 100% favorite
Y’all. This book. I don’t think I was ready for how GOOD THIS WOULD BE. It’s emotional, tense, full of heart, and yeah… the spice? Let’s just say Frank delivers.

An absolute delight to read Frank and Ellie’s story in the Boston Billionaires series - full of emotion, trauma, betrayal, and mafia business where love conquers all. I devoured this book in e-book and audio format in just over 24 hours.
I still cannot get over the fact that he bought the dogs they always talked about getting as children even though they haven’t spoken to each other in 30 years, gave them the same name, and the dogs just somehow knew they needed to protect her at all costs when they met her - my heart melted completely.
5 ⭐️ narration by Joe Arden and Maxine Mitchell - an absolute powerhouse duo and my favourite of all time.

DNF at around 30%- good reviews, especially on the audio and the story seemed interesting but was having to force myself to keep picking it up which means it’s time to move on.
