DNF - After MONTHS of trying to read this book I finally give up, even though I got close to the end I can't stand it anymore
He clearly needs psychiatric help for being that dependent on another person. She acts like every little thing is the end of the world. This is true love, clearly. The end of the book seems to be thrown in for shock value and cliff hangers but will probably end up being a misunderstanding in the next book. I will read the next two since I got them as a boxed set so I certainly hope they're better than this one.
This was such a good book. It was well written and the characters were great. I knew it ended with a cliffhanger but man I wasn't prepared for that one. Thankfully I have the next one already, I can't wait to read it.
DNF - 70%
It started as a cute easy read but then around half way through, it got sooooo repetitive and the characters were horrible. This has been sitting in my kindle for days and I don't feel like finishing it so I'm not going to do it.

didn't love and couldn't bring myself to read the second.
This is a book where you start out at the top of a hill and then, with each chapter, it goes downhill. It started out good. Then as we got to read more about the characters and move along in the story, it just started falling short of interesting. I lost interest quickly and felt relieved when I made it to the ending that fell short as well.
Heroine was an immature cowardly asshole.
Cliffhanger.
Not reading the next.

Wow...what an ending! What am I supposed to do now? wait? I think I'll stalk the author until she gives in and publishes the book a.s.a.p. HA!
Dylan, oh for the love of God Dylan...I'd name a baby boy after Dylan now...
Alright, about the book and apart from the obvious HUGE cliffhanger that I am enduring...I liked the characters, I got kind of frustrated with Sky a couple of times, her denials went for too long I guess and the whole: I like you but I won't touch you thing that Dylan had at first was also a bit frustraiting....I liked the earthly reactions though, their arguments sounded real and their phisical chemistry was hot. The rest of the characters were cool, the rock band and their "cliched" lifestyles, the manager, the best friend...they all had a role and I think that Jem, the biggest jerk in history is going to get a more important piece from now on....just a hunch...lol!
I give it a 4 stars review because I always feel "cheated" with massive cliffhangers, I would have bought the second book straight away without it, the day authors learn that if we, readers, love their books and especially their characters, we'll always want more from them without the heartwrecking feeling of yeah, the word that defines this review CLIFFHANGER.

Good but predictable. I like new adult novels that are plot driven and not all sex randomly thrown in but this had too much backstory for my liking. Sky and Dylan don't interact very much, you get a lot of them thinking about each other and not enough of them actually being with each other in my opinion. You know they are attracted to each other and want each other but neither of them actively try to do anything about it. You know what's going to happen - he's famous so that's going to get in the way of their relationship and you're just wondering when that will happen rather than if it will happen. Most of it was fun to read but it kind of felt like it was drawing on too long. But because Dylan is supposed to be the lyricist of his band, he says some great, poetic things so that's a plus. There's this big plot twist at the end that I think was pretty unnecessary and I don't like that it makes you need to read the next book to find out what happens - you can definitely write a series without cliffhangers like that. This discovery also changes the way Dylan is perceived and written throughout the rest of the book even with all of the conflicting perspectives from the other characters. The ending was not great. Honestly I think it took away from the entire book. It was alright but I wouldn't read it again.
I'm glad I got this book for free because otherwise I would have cried at wasting my money on a book that I didn't enjoy at all.
From the get go the book didn't grab and hold my attention but I persevered and kept going in hopes that it would get better. It didn't.
Sky is a girl who is so all over the place it is frustrating. One minute she wants to be with Dylan and the next she doesn't.
The story isn't told very well and I don't think I will be continuing with the series.
