I really wanted to like this and I started off liking it.
The angst, the frustration, the backstory, the plot, the back-and-forth, it started off well.
Unfortunately, I finished it HATING the MMC with no wish to forgive him, and feeling really frustrated with the FMC who seemed to have no backbone.
