“This was never about love. Not for me, anyway.”

This book is lengthy but addictive. The plot is medicore and predictable but still I enjoyed reading it. I love the fmc Paige. She is strong, independent and capable and has her own set of insecurities and vulnerabilities. Misha on the other hand was hot and cold. One second I thought he cared about her and the rest of the time he was just cold and indifferent towards her. The accusations he hurled at her right after she was caught in a dangerous situation were se maddening and he did not even grovel much. I'm still going to read the next book to find if Paige will finally get her much deserved HEA.
