Dnf about halfway through it was so boring I think the author would be better off creating a short film rather than a book

This is a beautiful, heartfelt, captivating wordless graphic novel. I cried while reading it, which I didn't expect to do. I absolutely loved and admired how much the author was able to portray with only the art. I'll be thinking about this one for a long time.

I do agree with another reviewer who said this seems to be more geared towards adults who can understand the history behind it. I'm not sure middle grade readers would get as much out of it, however I expect it to start a lot of conversations and spark some research!
