A wonderful read. I was seeking a summer romance read and boy did it deliver. Maybe it’s the version of me that would love nothing more than to slow life down and get away from it all or the fact that this book was pitched as Gilmore Girls meets schitts creek. GG is my all time favorite show and this description was spot on. I laughed out loud in so many moments I had to give up on annotating because the whole book would be highlighted.
I loved all of the side characters and how developed the main characters became. The plot was fun and it was so easy to just fall into this romance reader paradise of fantasies we hope will happen to us.
