This is by far one of the most fast paced read I ever got my hands on to aside from CoHo’s works. This is a perfect summer read and I’m swooning on this one. I love Desi’s character but there’s one scene when I hate her guts (you’ll find out too once you read this). If you wanted to get out of your reading slump and just want to have a good read that keeps you turning pages then I suggest you give this one a try

Overall, cute! Waffled on a three or four, but it was a fun read if a little too much in places. If the premise sounds crazy, that will definitely not go away while you read.

this book was so cute and funny - it was so predictable, but the cuteness makes up for that I think.

Des was just adorably clueless, and Luca was .. typical. I don't know why I liked this so much, I gobbled it down in a day and I didn't want it to end.

It was well worth the read either way, and I'm glad I read it. It was kind of along the lines of Geekerella for me, it was major fluff, and major adorable

Cute

I think I'm just too old at this point??

I Believe in a Thing Called Love is about a girl named Desi who believes anything is possible if you have a plan. She's never had a boyfriend but armed with knowledge from K dramas, she hopes to land Luca.

This was... okay but it reads very young. It was cute sure but I just couldn't vibe, which was mostly a me problem. I've been having a difficult time with some YA books lately because they read younger and talk about things / act way too immature for my old ass to relate to and I know this is my fault. I'm not the target audience !! I'm the one reading books not meant for me !! And still I keep going back here !!

This had an added bonus about never shutting up about K dramas which isn't something I've ever watched or care to. I know I set myself up for failure but I needed this book for a reading challenge so I regret nothing.

This is one of the books that some people may dislike, and some people will love it to death. I'm in the category with loving it to death. Though the love story might be a little bit cliche and very much crazy, it's the craziness that makes me love this book so. Desi is such a unique character and I love her for it. She had changed so much throughout the book. There were a lot of time where I cringe with what Desi did but I love her more for it. I love Maureen Goo's books because she really does bring her characters to life. She makes them very relatable. Not to mention these characters are funny and have a lot of sass.
