There were things about this I liked and things about this I didn’t like. I’m just going to get the didn’t likes out of the way. I wasn’t really into the romantic relationship which is kind of a big part of this book seeming she’s using K Dramas to get this guy to fall for her. I just really wasn’t into Luca. And okay some of the steps in her plan were just straight up crazy. I mean she had someone throw nails down on the road so he’d get a flat tire they could have gotten into a way worse accident than they did or someone else could have, also getting your car fixed is expensive! And then she tried to pretend drown and almost caused him to drown drown cause he didn’t know how to swim. CRAZY!
The things I liked though…
I really loved her appa, he was so cute and adorable. Any scene that involved him I loved. I also really liked their relationship and how they take care of each other. And her relationship with her friends, they were cute and helped with her crazy scheming. The K Drama boyfriend plan, for the most part I thought it was good (kinda long and a couple crazy ideas aside) and fun. If she’d left out the crazy I don’t see how someone could get mad you used it to help you get someone to like you.

Was a cute read. A little young for me but still cute. Main character was a tad annoying at times but I related to her too

Es entretenido, sí, pero realmente no puedo sacarle muchas cosas buenas.
Te hace leer y leer sin parar pero no creo que sea un libro memorable ni nada de eso.

Loved the kdrama references but there's only so much secondhand embarrassment I can physically stand before I want to run for the hills.
I'm docking a star only because I didn't 100% love the writing style, and because of the implausibility of 85% of this book (but, really, that's irrelevant because that's the point; it's like a k-drama!) Overall, this was a really, really cute read and so fun as someone who watches k-dramas! The totally unrealistic bits made it almost as outrageous as dramas can get, and I really appreciated the effort to embraces a lot of those tropes in a contemporary YA setting.
