This book is absurd and ridiculous but I loved every moment of it. Absolutely hilarious.

My k-drama heart completely stopped when they started watching DOTS at the end xD

I started the book with some hesitation.....and then could not put it down. It's especially funny if you have ever seen any Korean Dramas.... Thank you Ms. Goo for providing me with a very pleasant evening. It was a truly wonderful book to curl up on the sofa with. It was also an excellent reminder that we can't control everything.

Eeeep!! I love this book! It's very long. Reading this book is like watching a korean drama, at some parts I could not bear it (the secondhand embarrassment was tooo much, just like kdramas)

It's a nice feel good book! I mean, Desi is freaking crazy but I find her really endearing. I love her friends for giving her a dose of reality every once in a while.

I love how the Korean exchanges appeared/ translated in the book. I could actually see it in my head because 1. I'm Asian myself and 2. I'm an avid k-drama. It gave another dimension to the book.

Of course it could've been better maybe? Her friendships could've been explored? Maybe her and Luca's relationship but the book is already long enough. It's not a bad book and it's definitely one I'd reread!!

I've never watched a k drama but now I really want to...

This gave me lots of feels, not because what she was doing with Luca was romantic, but because I love K-dramas and so many great ones that I've watched were mentioned. When it mentioned Flower Boy Ramen Shop I fangirled so hard. That was the first k-drama I ever watched and was what got me hooked on them. I've been watching them for almost 4 years now and I don't think i'll ever stop. They're just so much fun.

Now the book plot itself. While it was a nice fluffy romance, I can't say I was very in favour of what Desi was doing to get Luca. The lying wasn't my favourite, but I certainly think she had real feelings for him. I can't give this 5 stars because I didn't really connect with Desi as much as I would like. I have to say her best friends were awesome though, supportive and there to help pick her up when she's in trouble.
