This review is going to be a little different than others just because the book is so far into the series. People who haven't read the series won't be reading this review for obvious spoiler reasons.

The seventh book in the Pretty Little Liars series did not disappoint me in any way. I have always been a huge fan of the series and the books just seem to keep getting better. There is always mystery, romance, suspicion, betrayal, guilt, and so much more. There is seriously never a boring moment in the books and that is why I love them so much.

The ending of the sixth book took me by surprise and shocked me. The beginning of this one turned it all around. I wasn't sure how Sara Shepard was going to make it work but she did. Also, A really messed up these girls' heads in this book. I could not even guess what A was going to think of next. That is one crazy person and the girls kind of annoy me because they always fall for A's lies.

The ending was unexpected and kind of abrupt but the final book in the series is out now so there will be no more guessing on who killed Ali and why they continue to torment the Pretty Little Liars. I am starting it right now and I can't wait until I have some free time to really get into it.

Overall, Heartless is another great addition to one of my favorite series. I can't recommend this series enough. I even managed to get a couple of my friends to read it who don't normally read books outside of school. That should be recommendation enough. =]

Heartless / PLL 7

Good but not amazing. Same old PLL but once again, the ending was insane & left me on a huge cliff hanger so I have to keep going!

Wow ok, so I don't remember half of this book apparently. I remember Hannah going to the mental institution, but that's IT. So this one pretty much threw me for a loop, despite reading it in high school. Only one more that I have actually read, then everything will be fresh and new!

This book seemed to almost spin out of control with each girl forming their own very different theory. I was not expecting that ending at all.

I feel like a lot of people would have gotten fed up with this series at this point. It’s not even halfway done and books 5 and 6 were so similar, that it felt like a chore to read this one. I thought this book would have the similar plot, A would give notes, the girls would try to decipher them, there would be a huge event where everyone gets together, then it ends in a cliff hanger. This was definitely not how Heartless went.

A sends everybody their separate ways, giving hints as to who killed Ali, except each girl gets clues to a different person. I won’t say who, since I don’t want to spoil anything. But things definitely get interesting. These clues and where the lead the girls were so interesting. You think they get so close, then the book ends. This book brought back the mystery to this series, which is why I started reading it in the first place. I don’t care about all of the drama that was even in the last two books. I would read a chick lit if I wanted drama

It’s hard to say much without spoiling anything, but I’m just really glad it got back to the mystery and away from the drama. I’m really excited to start the next book. Only it might not be for awhile because there are 2 other holds for it at the library.

The story was okay, and we got more info, but it was quite boring because nothing really happened except for them running into dead ends and being arrested and then let loose.

Slow at the start as per usual but those plot twists at the ending is what keeps making me come back for more!

Sara Shepard you've done it again and I can guarantee you that I'll be reading to the very last book of the series!

I really like Noel...What a typical but also not typical Rosewood boy. Also, go Andrew Campbell. And, ya know, Mike Montgomery. These girls may be on the right path of love. Finally. Poor Spence falling for A's tricks AGAIN. Such a little family ruiner. As always. Maybe Hanna should look closer at Iris and mysterious Courtney...And what does Leah have to do with Ali's death? Or...suicide as Aria wants to believe? RIP Jenna Cavanaugh. If only she could've seen it coming...Too soon?

AGAIN, this one was insane- so many different plot lines that seemed individual but the way they came together at the end as ways for A to get them arrested?? Incredible. Like a Guy Ritchie ending fr!!

Also appreciated how the stories weren’t all about relationships this time. Much different problems, and honestly, while it may not be as PC as it should be, I appreciated the discussion/storyline of the mental facility. It actually put a good glimpse into that, even if it made it out that everyone in a mental health facility is “insane”. Overall, incredible!
