Love this series!!
I love the Harris brothers, and the we now have another makes this series even better! Just like with all of the books in this series, you will laugh, cry, feel the spice and love every minute of it. If you like sports romance books, I highly recommend reading this series.

I’m in the minority, but I was very much underwhelmed by this story. I liked both MC’s individually, but there was something off with them as a couple. Maybe it was the lies? I kept putting this book down to read anything else. The plot wandered around, slowly looking for a point.
The obligatory drama at the end was so silly.

Sweeper was everything that Amy promised, and she made me cry during a rom-com!! A secret baby that is all grown up, paper-thin apartment walls, past trauma, and the Maury reveal that was fitting. I loved seeing the Harris family back in action with all of their antics. The audiobook was worth the wait!!

I was dying to get my hands on this story! After being introduced to Zander Williams, the unexpected surprise Harris love child, I couldn't wait to see how his story would play out and how the Harris family would accept him into their fold.
My heart broke for Zander as he was navigating the changes in his life but once he found Daphney, he was challenged in the best ways. Daphney was the perfect match for him. She was strong, put him in his place and both their banter and chemistry was to die for. I loved their journey to a happily ever after.
Being back with the Harris family was just like coming home and I loved being able to see everyone all together again. If you love the Harris family, you can't miss this story!

This is for sure going down as one of my best reads this year! Let me preface this by saying I have not read the Harris Brother series (yet). I do not feel like I was missing any vital piece of information and there was nothing that I didn’t understand in reading this book on its own. That being said let me tell you why this book was a standout for me. Zander and Daphney are such relatable characters. Zander is your typical cocky professional athlete, but he is not unemotional. He FEELS things and I love that we get to watch Daphney pull out some of those emotions. Daphney is a broody musician who has been burned in the not so distant past. Their story not only had me rolling on the floor laughing at Zander for his ineptitude at British lingo, it also had my heart hurting for him in his indecision and reluctance to find the truth. It made my joy complete to watch Zander and Daphney find that piece of themselves that they’d been missing with the others help. And it had me bawling as the Harrises bonded with Zander near the end. This book made me feel something and it brought back my love of soccer (football) in a way I wasn’t expecting. Definitely worth the read and a re-read!

I have been waiting anxiously for this brilliant book by Amy Daws. It exceeded my expectations. I had to force myself to slow read Sweeper because I didn't want it to end.
Zander Williams has gotten himself recruited to play with the Harris family in Bethnal Green. Daphney is the waitress who happens to be his neighbor and building manager. Seeing him try to hit on her as the cocky American in England was hilarious. Their attraction is instant and mutual. They argue and banter. It's their foreplay. One thing leads to another. But Zander hasn't told Daphney his secret. It could destroy them but this is Amy Daws so I knew she'd wrap it up the only way she can.
I recommend that as you get to the big reveal you have some tissues ready. I was bawling my face off over a bacon sandwich!!
