Well this was really good. Set in the world of the Harris brothers, actually totally tied into the world of the Harris brothers.

Daphney is an adopted family member of sorts of the Harris family. She is related by marriage. When a footballer from America comes to play for the town’s team, she shoots he cocky one liners down like it is second nature. Zander can’t even believe he is using these stupid come ons but seems to put his foot in his mouth ever time he is around Daphney. Both are suffering from different lies and deceptions, Daphney from a past boyfriend and Zack from his own parents. As his dad just died and he cannot confront him and his mother is devastated by the lost so he doesn’t feel like he can confront her either, he ends up trying to find out answers in his own bumbling way. When that bumbling ends up hurting Daphney, she takes it harder than need be and will except NO apologies. She wants nothing more with deceptive men.

What a ride for both of our characters but especially for Zander. Parents can sometimes totally do the wrong thing for what seems to be the right reasons.

Secret dad. British-isms. Neighbor with benefits.

Zander, an American soccer player, just got drafted to a premier football team in England. He also found out that the team manager may or may not be his real dad. Yikes! Hopefully, his neighbor with benefits, and familiar face to the series, Daphney, can help him solve the mystery.

Amy Daws is the ultimate in steamy sports romance! She caught me with her book, Blindsided, and has since continued to reel me into her amazing footballer world since.

Sweeper brings us another American into the mix, and does not disappoint with the spicy sexual chemistry between Zander and Daphney. When Zander moves to England to compete in the big leagues, he gets set up in a building that Daphney manages, and just so happens to share a paper thin wall with her. There is an instant attraction, but neither is looking for a relationship, so they enter into a casual neighbors with benefits kind of arrangement.

Amy never stops with just the amazing steam though, and this book is no exception. There is also mystery surrounding Zander’s parentage, trying to fit in in a country that doesn’t always share a common language, and the rawness of having recently lost a parent.

Sweeper is set in the amazing world of the Harris family dynasty, but is easily read as a stand-alone. Of course, once you read this one, you’ll definitely want to be going back to read about each of the Harris family members, and their friends. They are all five star reads for me! Honestly can’t say enough about how much I love each and everyone of the books Amy writes!

Another awesome installment in a series that I am always begging for more from! Thanks so much to Amy for providing me an eARC of this book in exchange for my honest review.

I love Amy Daws humor, and this book had me laughing, but hey we get Zander and he is an amazing book boyfriend. His story couldn't be more perfect, I really enjoyed every page. Daphney was his perfect match, I loved their banter and how she put him in his place. This story will hook you from the start, is a light rom-com with sports romance well balanced. I think you will love the Harris Brothers series if you haven't read them all.

I was just bored. And the fact the I previously read The Hardest Fall by Ella Maise which has an almost the same “illegitimate child” plot, I was just fed up.

Zander & Daphney’s relationship was full of sarcastic comments, heated moments and of course an education in all things British. From neighbour wars to Neighbours with benefits, their relationship was so much fun to read. It was sweet & swoony. I loved the different nicknames!

Link & Knight, two other Americans joining the club at the same time were a great addition, despite their harebrained schemes to help Zander get DNA from the Harrises so he could see if he was related.

A great sports romance read, even if you haven't read the rest of the Harris books (even though I'd recommend reading those!)
