Was I nervous about a secret Harris brother? Yes. Was I also stupidly excited for this book since the last one’s giant teaser? Very much yes.

This has got to be one of my favourite sports romance series and Amy didn’t fail me. She did a secret brother trope brilliantly.

Zander is silently struggling. He’s got lots on his plate and is dealing with a lot and you just kinda want to give him a big hug. He was playful and cheeky and I absolutely adored him.

Daphne’s got her own baggage though. She is hilarious and I love how much she makes Zander work for her.

This chemistry was outstanding. It just radiated off the page! You definitely get a nice build up of tension and then the perfect amount of steam!

I absolutely loved everything about this book. I love all the old characters and the new. I love how everything was navigated and that it made me laugh and tear up. Definitely a must read.

Yes!

I absolutely love Amy Daws‘ books

THIS BOOK WAS EVERYTHING! Amy does it again - she wrote a fun, fast paced, hot sports romance that had me smiling from start to finish.

This is a story of a man who feels lost. He lost his father suddenly, then was thrown a curve ball finding out not only is his had not his bio dad, but his bio dad is the head of England's biggest soccer family. When he moves to London to play for his team, he's torn with finding out the truth, or moving on.

In walks his neighbor... she fills a gap for him that has been missing, makes him feel wanted. And even though this is only supposed to be a neighbor with benefits, it quickly turns in to more for him. Unfortunately, like real life, things don't go smoothly the whole time.

This book all around made me happy. I laughed, I teared up, and I swooned. What more could you ask for?! At the core - this story is about found family... it might not always be what you think, but they will always be there for you.

HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend!

shoutout to my only 1* read of the year!!!

maybe i’m just feeling grumpy??? but there isn’t a single thing i didn’t actively dislike about this book. at first, i actually like zander and his whole biological father plot—this was resting at a solid 3* for probably the first third. but as it went on i just couldn’t get past the bad writing and the constant underlying misogyny and in the end i’m unimpressed, to say the least.

Debo despertar en 3 horas más, pero supongo que tengo prioridades distintas jajaja

Lloré más de mi que pensé, pero no fue por el drama de la pareja, si no por temas secundarios. El papá por siempre estará presente ;_;

Sweeper was everything that Amy promised, and she made me cry during a rom-com!! A secret baby that is all grown up, paper-thin apartment walls, past trauma, and the Maury reveal that was fitting. I loved seeing the Harris family back in action with all of their antics. The audiobook was worth the wait!!
