my god this book made me weep. like full on, i had to put the book down and cry like a banshee, kind of weeping. richard osman, you just get it. you get the heartache of losing someone to a cruel disease but also the pain of losing someone you love. i’ve been unable to put my grief into words but you managed to find them for me. he won’t see this i know but it needed to be said.
the plot was great as always and i loved the new characters along with some characters from the last book! i know there’s gonna be a wait for the next instalment but it’ll definitely be worth it

a solid four star series !!!! i love these characters a lot. they are so realistic to me 😭 like i know they are old people solving murders but i can totally see my grandparents doing the exact same things they do. i think it is probably the british humour which is also super similar to the aussie humour that helps. <333 i hope to live at coopers chase one day
