mannnnn idk. this whole series just took a bit of a downward turn for me after book 1 and while i enjoyed a torch against the night, the final two books went in a direction i just didn’t love. the biggest issue for me is that i just really did not like the storyline of my favourite character, which meant that i didn’t even have that character to fall back on when the rest of the book was dragging lol.

Usually when I get to the end of the series, I'm let down in SOME way but I really wasn't with this. My heart was torn out, but there was still so much hope in the face of it all. The pacing is the only thing that knocked it down for me but it was so emotionally driven and I loved it and wish I had someone to talk to about it.

IM SCREAMING!!!!!! SABAA TAHIR ATE WITH THIS SERIES. I’m also CRYING BECAUSE MY HEART HAS BEEN BROKEN AND HEALED. What a magnificent end to a magnificent series.
A Sky Beyond the Storm is about the cycle of violence, generational trauma and figuring out how to begin to heal wounds that we thought impossible. Tahir is an INCREDIBLE author with a beautiful strong voice and her characters are so real to me. This series has touched my heart so deeply especially as we are in a time that parallels this story. Finishing this book gives me such a deep hope for humanity and reminds me the deep deep power of love.
I am reminded that the best thing I can and will ever do in my life is to love. Thank you so much Sabaa Tahir for giving me this story as I needed it so much.
