This book is for “the angry women, the threatening women, the solitary…with cold hearts and sharp tongues, who play with fire and fall in love with monsters”.
I LOVED this book. It was anything but pretty, but in and of itself it was beautiful.
If you liked the premise of Frankenstein by Mary Shelley, you’ll like this one quite a bit.
We love women who take control of their destiny no matter how many times they’re told they can’t!

Interesting premise and story, but I wished there had been less focus on the two men and their horrible treatment of the main character and more on the queer romance. Sadder than I expected, but the ending was excellent.
