Whelp, Cassandra Clare has done it again; her writing was as enchanting as ever and put me hecka in the FEELS.

Love the characters, love the Shadow-hunter world, love the themes, love the allusions (ShErLoCk HoLmEs and pOe!)

Since I was a big fan of Cassandra Clare's Mortal Instruments series, it makes no sense that I didn't snap up her new series that starts with Lady Midnight immediately. Welp, I took care of that. It was a solid story, some familiar characters, and kept me guessing. The family dynamic pulled at my heartstrings, and I really want to know what happens next. I admit that I wasn't super shocked at some parts of the ending (I do read a lot of books like this), but that doesn't mean I'm not impatiently awaiting the next installment already.

Mesmo a história não sendo tão incrível e as vezes, apesar deles sempre estarem fazendo algo importante, parecer que nada realmente acontece, eu achei a história muito boa, realmente interessante e gostosa de acompanhar.
Tenho certeza que o que me ganhou no livro foi principalmente os personagens, estou apaixonada por todos, sem tirar nem por, sofri por eles e tive vontade de protegê-los a cada acontecimento.
Estava muito receosa com este livro, mas me surpreendi por ser um dos que mais gostei de ler da CC.
O final porém não me agradou tanto e estou com uma certeza que vou passar muita raiva no próximo livro, como só CC sabe me fazer passar, e não isso não é um elogio disfarçado.
Para fechar, só preciso dizer que Julian é o mais novo amor da minha vida, só não ganha do Magnus, porque ele é hors concours!
