Tobias and Olivia were both dumb as fuck at times. But ultimately you root for them. It was a quick enjoyable read.

It was too fast paced and the characters were impulsive. I didn’t feel any connection between them.

I didn't love the Earl here. I felt that his change came too late in the story for me to warm to him. I did love his grovel though. Top notch.

Great characters and character growth, decent smut, kind of predictable, but what romance isn’t?

Wicked in His Arms: ★ ★ ★

Stacy Reid (Wedded by Scandal, #2)

“What I feel for you is beyond affection. At the crest of each dawn I think of being inside of you. I write and you crowd my thoughts. I sleep and you are the last person I think of, and damn me if when I wake, you are not the first person I fucking look for. I think that borders on obsession wife, not mere affection.”

This was fine, but the third act conflict and slight OW drama was really insufferable. I liked the characters for the most part, even if Tobias was a very typical (read: stupid) man and Livvie was not like other girls. I liked that he accepted that part of her and never really tried to tame it because being so bold and reckless was absolutely unheard of in the historical romance time, of course. And I also liked that touch of him being an author! I think both of them did things and said things that drove me absolutely wild because they were just senseless and based on tempers, but it was a quick read that satiated my ever-lasting historical romance itch.
