"She didn't know that love could feel like this, so honeyed, so sweet" ugly cried and sick to my stomach watching them grieve a dead sibling. better than cleo and frank but the best parts were towards the end.

3.5 stars- i expected to like this more than I did because i saw a lot of hype. I think this book definitely hits harder if you have sisters- which i don’t so that was probably part of the problem. The first half felt slow but the second half was much more engaging and enjoyable.

This was a beautiful story of sisterhood and how even in the darkest of times, the people who truly love you will be by your side. I was heavily moved by how these sisters navigated their grief both together and separately. The characters were written honestly and felt like real, complex people. I recommend this book to specifically to anyone with a sister / sibling as the relationships between sisters run this story. I recommend to anyone who wants an emotional, reflective read 🤍
