This is the conclusion to Zarrah and Keris’s story. The good points in this book were great but I just never connected with either character and I’m ready to move on but I knew I had to finish these to get to Ahnna’s story (Aren’s twin sister and the FMC in the upcoming book in the series). 

I’ve never encountered a character with less leadership qualities than Zarrah. Keris isn’t much better but at least he knew that and he abdicated. Now they’re both leading Valcotta. Like the last page has them talking about not doing the things they should be doing as leaders... I love that Sarhina is leading though.
