I’m still crying while writing this review after sitting in the same spot without moving ever since I started the book today. Save to say, it’s gonna take a while to come down from the rush this beautiful read gave me.

This book.. oh wow. I was not prepared for the level of pure sweetness, charmingly honest characters and sizzling tension. The balance between hilarious and lighthearted banter, nerdy flirting and raw, multi dimensional and real characters full of struggles and insecurities was just perfect. I laughed so much, I cried almost as much from sheer emotional overload. This is the BEST kind of books and I’m so so so glad I finally picked it up. I already know it’s gonna be a constant re-read to chase that wholesomeness.

A very sweet and endearing queer love story! Heavy themes about acceptance, the queer experience, and self-love to name a few, but an overall light and enjoyable read!

Love the non binary main character and queer love story. Just didn’t get sucked in to the writing

The mixed POV was confusing - not separated by chapters.

But even worse was that one of the love interests was pretty unlikable - felt like a manic pixie dream girl where she is "quirky" and her flaws aren't really flaws.

Loved it! Smart, funny, and steamy. In short, everything I want in a queer romance. The characters were charming and believable. I love food so all of the talk of the delicious dishes they made left me wanting to try them.

3.5! Just wish it wasn’t an omnipresent POV, that threw me off. This story as a chapter by chapter dual POV would have been so great and also fixed a lot of the pacing issues imo.
