“... like I promised. I’m a Shinigami who keeps his word.”
I was wary of reading this at first, but I knew that Ohba and Obata strive to try out every twist and turn before, god forbid, repeating any character, plot or motive. Despite being only 88 pages, this one packed a punch. I loved seeing some old characters and I really liked Minoru and the ending.
There’s references to past characters (there are also cameos as well which I won’t spoil here) and answers to some questions we’ve asked after the last chapter of Death Note.
Here, the artist+author don’t repeat the same tale, instead, they explore a satirical and a ‘what if’ scenarios. What if the notebook fell in our year, with our authorities and with our society - on top of all that had happened more than a decade ago?
If you’ve read/watched Death Note and miss it, I do recommended giving it a go. It’s different and it’s good.
*also. THE LONG HAIR. MMMM. WON’T SPOIL HERE, BUT DAMN. THE LONG HAIR*

Obviamente hay cosas que me hubiese gustado conocer mejor, como las motivaciones del protagonista (y el protagonista en general), pero para ser un one shot estuvo bien, entretiene y es incluso divertido por momentos.
I know this was a short one shot but omfg ??? This was so good ??? Death Note was my peak middle school teenage angst manga so it was nice to re-live it with a modern political twist.
basically a follow up of the previous one shot special, i liked this !!
- ryuk should've just not told tr*mp about the rule and let him die lol
- normally i don't care much for near but his new hair makes him that much more likable
- poor tanaka, i don't really understand why ryuk had to kill him? he'd already forfeited ownership and he never even wrote in it. i really need this explained somehow cause that wasn't necessary at all :( he was a really nice kid
- this needed more matsuda

Un très bon début, un peu déçue de la fin cependant. J’aurais aimer avoir un peu plus d’informations.
Rapide à lire cependant.
Pour les fans de Death Note, ça fait plaisir de retourner dans l’univers.
