Omg  this bloody book I was so frustrated with so many character views and the first half of the book nearly made me loose interest but it picked up ! Litterally downs, downs, downs no luck could be seen in this book it drove me crazy but the ending stole my heart x

Why does this book exist? Nothing happened. There were millions of worthless POVs. And it was boring and irritating as fuck. Plus, everything that happened in the last book was changed in this one. I hope the next book will truly be the last because I’m so done with this story.

That was too damn long. There are too many POVs. Too much descriptive language. There is too much internal dialogue that says the same thing over and over in just different words. There were while chapters that I skipped and a lot of chapters that I skimmed. The story is amazing. It's probably one of my favorite stories, but damn. There is too much heartache for no reward. They claim some if the POVs are the "ups" in this book, but they aren't. Once things started happening, 800 PAGES INTO THE STORY, I finally became invested. But it should NOT have taken that many pages for literally anything to happen. I had to read 2 palette cleansers while reading this book because it's all depressing. That's crazy. Will I continue the series? Yes. I've made it this far, but I am also dreading it.

I want to give this book 1 star, but my love for the characters won’t allow me to. Why, oh why did I read 1200 pages of absolutely nothing but fluff? They could have easily wrapped the story up and give us the happy ending we all deserve… instead gave us little reprieve from the continuous failure of this group of characters… I am so upset that the last chapter was in Vard’s point of view??? Why!? Why!!!!!
