it was absolutelyheart wrenching reading rufus and mateo as kids with their parents it hurt so bad the fact they could have met as 10yr old. And i cried a bit hearing the call of orions freond deina calling scarlet about her brother. I still perfer they both die at the end but this was a lovely read.

Tears were shed, and book was almost thrown. A well written book and i cant wait to read more by Adam Silvera

I absolutely ADORED They Both Die At The End, the first book. I finished it in one sitting and was a complete wreck by the end. This did not do the same. I'm not sure if it's because I'm much older now, but the dialogue and the internal monologues were so, so cringey. Trying so hard to be relatable and cool, all these embarrassing phrases and all I can picture is a middle aged man writing these things trying to portray younger guys, it was just really cringe I'm sorry. The actual plot was decent, if not pretty far fetched, but still enjoyable and very easy to read. I enjoyed the story, but the conversations and the OBSESSIVE references back to them being gay was a bit much, did you know these characters were gay? No? Okay in nearly every chapter I'll remind you. I love representation in books but this felt so dumbed down and repetitive. Enjoyable, wouldn't read again.

Dit boek is speciaal. Niet alleen is het goed geschreven en lees je er vliegensvlug doorheen. Het verhaal is zo mooi en er zitten zoveel lessen en boodschappen in dat ik dit boek iedereen aanraad. Met de titel en na een aantal hoofdstukken verwacht je het einde al te weten en toch heeft het boek mij verbaasd met het einde en hoeveel mooier het boek ieder hoofdstuk werd.
