I thought this was really good! Def slow and took me a while to finish. I am normally not a fan of the alternating pov’s but I thought it was so well done here.

“Think of that vine that curls from the small square plot that was once my heart. That is the only marker you need. Move on. Walk towards the light,” (543). Maybe one of my favorite endings in a novel. I wasn’t sure how the story would manage to fully depart from the missionary perspective, but it did so beautifully.
