He introduces her to the charismatic star Ruthanna (a thinly disguised Dolly Parton).
This is an easy read, with lots of interesting details about the music world. There's a bit of romance, and the mystery of AnnieLee's past (which fell a bit flat for me). A good beach read, especially if you're a country music/Dolly Parton fan.

This is another book I didn’t finish. What I read was so-so. I was about 75% done when hoopla kept messing up and I just didn’t care enough to finish it.

Great book! I loved every moment and really enjoyed the mentions to country music was a nice added touch.
