This book is so cheesy, the main character is such a Mary Sue. The pacing in the book is really out of whack too - I listened to the audiobook and the really big revelation and big dramatic moments didn't happen until the last 20 min of a 10 hour audiobook.
Wish they actually sang the lyrics to the songs in the audio version.

Wish I'd listened to the audio book instead based on other reviews! I'm listening to Dolly's Run, Rose, Run album on spotify now with all the songs from the book.
The pacing was terrible: the first 80% of the book could have been half as long and the last 20% should have been more. You have to suspend reality a little bit for the plot.
I can't imagine anyone thinking they can disappear by trying to become famous?
