I had high hopes for this, but didn’t end up finishing it. Too corny
Was this the best book I have ever read? No. Was the plot somewhat predictable and cliche? Yes. It was however the perfect fun reading break after reading more serious books as of late. Also, if you are going to read this book I cannot recommend the audio book enough! Dolly Parton voicing a part?? How can that not be enjoyed.
I loved this book! What a fast paced, engaging book that had strong woman characters, kept me wanting more & has many layers to it. It’s over 400 pages but the short chapters makes it move fast. If you’re looking for a book that will keep you on your toes, has strong character development and is suspenseful then I highly recommend reading this!
My interest really started to fade about half way. Dolly kept me in it though.

THIS BOOK, let me tell you, is BY FAR, the BEST book I have ever read. Captured me from the beginning and HELD ME HOSTAGE throughout the entire book. 5/5 definitely recommend

This was really corny but it was fast paced and fun at the same time. I wish we had gotten Annie Leigh's backstory earlier instead of just hints. I can't give Dolly below 3 stars!

This book was okay. It was written in typical Patterson style, simple and elemental. I decided to try this one because I like country music and was mildly entertained. The story focuses on a future country music star who left behind a very questionable and secretive past. She meets people along the way who help her in her quest for stardom all while hiding her past.
Eventually, all secrets are revealed and romance comes to fruition. Very predictable but entertaining.
