I really enjoyed this one. With James Patterson and Dolly Parton behind it, how could it not be good? I loved the country music setting, the characters, and the mix of suspense and heart. 

The whole "on the run" part felt a little unrealistic at times. Honestly, the people chasing Annie probably could’ve grabbed her in the first scene. But it’s fiction, and I didn’t let that get in the way of enjoying the ride. The ending was sweet and satisfying. 

Great pick if you’re in the mood for a fast-paced, feel-good read with a strong lead and a bit of danger.

A bit too slow to get to the big picture. The last few chapters were the best and moved the plot along a lot faster but this doesn’t translate to the rest of the book
