Another audio book rendition of a ghost written book for a (soon to be) cheesy movie! Full disclosure I expected not to be amazed by this (James Patterson) but I tried to like it.
Initial review:
5 stars for Dolly in the audio book and I like the idea of an accompanying album. But why does everyone love her and why is her rise to fame so easy? The story line was bananas to me (cue evil bad guys finding her and beating her up for no reason). It’s not realistic at all…and the dialogue is cringe. Her electric blue eyes!

3.5! I love Dolly!! This is my first James Patterson book. It was less “thrilling” than what I expected. I was entertained. It was primarily a dreamer/romance book. This would make a good lifetime movie! Glad I read it.

It was a good book; one that held my attention. The character development was decent and I enjoyed the suspense. I did feel like, at the end, the story went from 0-60 in .5 seconds, so I wish it would have started the build up earlier in the book.
The audio version of this was great, it was fun hearing the other voices read and become the characters.
