I so wish this had a better ending! I was really invested in the characters, and reaching the last chapter to have it finish in just four/five pages was really disappointing.

This was a quick, entertaining read. I enjoyed Dolly’s obvious contributions like the songs, the Nashville gang, Ruthann and the Cinderella story, however there were too many plot holes to make this book truly enjoyable. I also think it took long to build to the climax of the book. I wish we would’ve gotten more hints and insights into AnnieLee’s background throughout the novel instead of waiting until the very end to reveal.
