As I read this book, I kept thinking it wasn't very good. And then I read all 400 pages in two days. So there's that.

I kept waiting for this to get better but it didn’t. There was too much buildup and a pretty random surprise ending. Pretty meh overall.

I recommend the audiobook of you are interested in this boon. It’s a full cast and Dolly reads for a character definitely inspired by herself.

This book was so incredibly good. I enjoyed listening to it on Audible and having the different people say the speaking parts. It kept me on my toes and definitely had James Patterson’s normal air of mystery to it! Will definitely read again. :)

This is questionably a mystery, & definitely not a thriller. Nothing happened through most of it, & everything was saved until the very end. By then, I was so bored & wanting it to be over that I didn't care. There would be random plot points that came up out of  nowhere, then it was glossed over & never spoken about again.

The MCs, especially the FMC, were insufferable. She was supposed to be tough, but she was just a bratty asshole through most of it. The love story seemed very forced & I didn't really understand it.

I didn't have extremely high hopes for this, but I figured it'd be decent since it's a James Patterson. Instead, it felt like a lazy cash grab.

Daaaang do I love me some Dolly Parton. I loved how badass these women were in regard to the music industry. I really struggled with AnnieLee’s backstory and did not expect this book to be that dark. It was not what I was expecting and was heavier than what I needed at the time of reading it.

I loved the audiobook and hearing Dolly and Kelsea’s voices. Made it even better!

One of the corniest books I’ve ever read, filled with all the cheese and heartbreak of a country song. I loved it!
