Highly recommend the audiobook version.
It was cool to recognize and have been to several places mentioned in this book since I live in Nashville.

At first this started out slow for me and I wasn't sure I could get into it. But since it was Dolly Parton I pushed on and I am glad I did. It turned out to be better. It was worth the read but I don't think I would read it a second time. A one time read.

I was worried that this was going to take me forever to finish because she sure is a chunky book. I’ll admit, I was also kinda skeptical because Dolly Parton co-writing a novel? I love her, but definitely didn’t have high hopes. But damn, I just couldn’t put it down whenever I had free time.
Dolly Parton & James Patterson were able to craft a unique and engaging musical story that left me feeling so much. When a book forces me to have all these emotions, it’s definitely a five-star from me.
Ruthanna Ryder and AnnieLee Keyes have been the most interesting characters that I’ve read about so far in 2022.
This book has reminded me that I need to pick up more of Patterson’s works. I loved them in high school and have re-discovered that love by reading this masterpiece.

It was an okay story what I loved was the narration, Dolly Parton read her part <3

Fun characters and a good story, with a gripping mystery that kept me hooked but the big secret reveal was disappointing for me. There was enough drama towards the end though that I wasn’t furious with it!

It was good but could have been better
