An entertaining book. You can definitely hear Dolly's voice in it. The thriller part seemed to be just kind of thrown in there without enough background, but the majority of the book is about making it in Nashville and was a fun ride.

I gave 3 stars for the story itself.
The music would have bumped it to a 4 star.

I enjoyed the book, but I feel that the story was so fast-paced that it didn't really feel like a thriller, romance, or suspenseful book at all.

The main conflict of the story takes place in roughly the last 100 pages of the 409 that were not song lyrics.

Anyways, this book may get people out of a reading slump because of it being an easy read and especially if you're a fan of country music.

I loved this book. Busy so can't write a bigger review but I love Dolly Parton and I loved the story and the mystery and pretty much every damn thing about this book.

This is a really interesting read. I've never really been a fan of country music as a whole but always loved Dolly Parton's outgoing and sparkly outward appearance.

In this book you can really get a sense of the input from both Dolly Parton and James Patterson. It's based around a girl who sings country music and has a past that she's trying to get away from, it's not until right near the end you find out what the past is and I had ideas of what it might be throughout the book but it wasn't what I expected.

This book is a brilliant mix of James Patterson's writing and Dolly Parton's country and fame background. The characters are great and I thoroughly enjoyed the storyline.

This is only the 3rd book of James Patterson's I've read and I really enjoy the fact that he co-writes with well known people on subjects that they know well.

Look forward to the next one of his I pick up.
