One of the best comics I've ever read. Drawings are just breathtaking and the story is thrilling, sometimes scary and on of a kind. Didn't think there could be so much potential in this character and yet... I'm left speechless.

What can I say that hasn't been said before? I reread this comic dreading that the flaws on Tom King's writing (made more evident by awful comics like Heroes in Crisis and his mediocre work on Batman) would be clearer on a reread, but luckily Vision is still good.
The feeling of dread given by the writing is still there, now clearer since I know what's gonna happen; the art and specially the colors work perfectly in turning this suburban dream into a nightmare.
Vision has never been one of my favorite characters, but I'm glad this book exists; bold takes on lesser known characters have been great for Marvel since the days of Fraction and Aja's Hawkeye and I wish more writers get a chance like King had in making such a complex and sad tale out of this kind of characters.

Starting this, I had no idea what to expect out of the story. The Vision has become not only one of my favorite Marvel comics but also one of my all-time favs.
Visually it was great. It was even greater story-wise.
Neighbors who have no idea what to do with the Vision family, peers who have different approaches towards young twins, unfinished jobs, and more. This graphic novel deals with a lot of subjects such as family dynamics, secrets, humanity, and prejudice. Among other super-hero works this one hits different.
You can read The Vision without having read any Marvel comics before. Having basic knowledge about the Vision as a character is quite enough.
Highly recommend.

I had started to read the first volume awhile ago and couldn't get into it, however I could still recognize that this was very intriguing. Thanks to a Comixology sale of the two volumes into one and a long plane ride, I finally got into it.
First, the art is great. The linework and colors are simple and stark much like the life of this family. There's a sense of eeriness in the storyline that's amplified by the art: it appears so simple and direct but is it?
This is one of those stories that you can tell from the start that things aren't going to end well. Some of the narration is to blame. In the MCU, Vision is such a fascinating character in part due to Paul Bettany's performance. This is definitely a different character but not entirely, which is one reason why I think I continued to read it even though you can tell shit is going to hit the fan. This is a complicated look at humanity invoking bits of racism and philosophy. I could see this being used in an English or Philosophy class easily.
I haven't read anything else that seems to link into this so I can't really recommend it from the perspective of someone who reads ALL the Marvel comics, however MCU fans will likely enjoy this (as much as one can).

I will admit that I was not really interested in the story at first and considered stopping reading it, but I'm glad that I ended up giving it a chance.
The story is great and really adds a lot of depth to the protagonist. The other characters were also all wonderfully done(even though I hated Vin), making the comic very thrilling!
I also absolutely loved the art style and was very happy to see Victor Mancha make an appearance nevermind how things ended for him .
All things considered, I would definitely recommend it to everyone!
