look I like a good thriller and while this felt reasonably predictable at times it had some good twists, but please won't someone stop all these men writing about women's breasts!!! her "majestic" breasts did not "move" out of surprise, please this is so embarrassing

What kind of book brings tears to your eyes, makes you gasp out loud, causes your heart to race with fear and still make you yearn for more? Any Jo Nesbo book. The Phantom is without exception. Excellent, excellent, excellent..

Enjoyable, fast-paced thriller. Perfect for holidays, not my favourite in the series but the reveal and ending made up for it.

This is a dirty and dingy book. I enjoyed it a lot, finding the twisted logic Nesbo employs in his narrative to work well, but there is a dark film over the ending that I think moved the book along really well. It was a curious story to tell, bringing Harry back to solve a murder that seems like a set up and is, but in a different direction.
