This book was amazing. It was full of emotional connections. I am not usually one for cheating tropes due to some crappy stuff in my past but I decided to take a chance with The Good Liar and was hooked. I didn’t think The Fisherman would top The Good Liar but it absolutely did. I truly enjoyed this one.

Oh. My. God. I need a minute.

Absolutely amazing FRTC brb.

This was worth the wait. After reading Cole and Jasper's story, I couldn't wait to find out what was going on with Franklin. This book tears you apart. From the connection Franklin and Leland share, to their individual growth and their HEA, this book had it all.

Keep me reading well into the night, I couldn't put it down.

As I keep discovering this author, the last few reads of her book list have been right up there with Marley Valentine, Riley Hart and Tal Bauer. The character development and the story arc are beautiful. I'll add that what I really appreciate from all these authors is the wide range of material they give us as readers. It's not the same book "recipe". The stories are varied, issues are different etc.

C.P. Harris has done it again!

This was absolutely incredible from start to end. As always, full of angst, tension, and a rollercoaster of emotions. Leland and Franky fly off the page and their emotions take you by the neck. The spice though was incredibly well done and dang, for an “old man” Franky can get it. Huge five stars for C.P.

These are some deeply flawed characters...

... on to the Caretaker.

I liked the book. Loved Franky and Leland togther.

Catch and Release

After reading this masterpiece, the change in title makes way more sense.

This was such a heartbreakingly beautiful story!

Broken and traumatized Leland and Franklin make sure that the HEA was hard won. Old characters, new characters, and valuable life lessons in letting go of our pasts to make way for our futures couldn’t have been done better. I ached for them both. I craved the toxicity. I yearned for the reconciliation. This one the Good Liar and ELEVATED THE GAME! Can’t wait to see book 3!

A true love story in its rawest and most vulnerable form.
