OMG! I am obsessed with this book from beginning to end  i read this book in one day. You will not be able to put it down at all. This is the top tier example of an enemies to lovers romance. You will be on the edge of your seat the entire time to understand the journey this author takes you on. Asher and Billie have the classic “ I hate you, but I have want you” relationship. Getting to see how each of the side characters play a park in bringing them to their happily ever after makes you fall in love with them too. Definitely move this up to the top of your TBR pile immediately.

Cant wait to read the next book in this series.

Billie and Asher hate each other and the banter is fantastic! Hate to love each other! Asher secretly tried to help Billie but she thinks he is trying to take her company down. However, he will protect her at all cost ❤️

Lyra Parish is an author who is known for exceeding my expectations in writing not only some of the wittiest banter, the most delightfully charged relationships, but packaging it all together with the most wicked sense of humor.  But now she has added something new to her list of accomplishments: redefining my favorite trope, enemies to lovers, and creating my newest favorite microtrope - mortal enemies to soulmates. Billie and Asher are perfect sparing partners and they prove the saying that "Revenge is an act of passion".

The Billionaire Situation Series has been an amazing read from Book One, The Wife Situation, but The Boss Situation has set the bar even higher for the next book, but I know that Parish always reaches that mark and this book proves that she will not only meet that challenge by surpass it.

I am always up for a good enemies to lovers romance and in the beginning, I could definitely feel the hate chemistry between Billie & Asher but in between 30-50% I began to feel bored. The push and pull between them got real annoying and I was tired of the OW/OM drama.
I did not like how Asher took a woman upto his house, was in the middle of hooking up with her and only stopped when the woman said that he called her "Billie". Like, did it really have to take a random hook-up for him to realise that he is gone for Billie? Also, Billie fake dating the other man (Prince Louis) whom she previously had a fling with was so unnecessary. (And it was mentioned that Louis was tangled up with another mystery woman, so I don't understand why did he agree to fake date her if he had someone else in mind in the first place.)
There was so much drama and for someone supposedly so "smart", Billie always backtracked from her plans, the moment Asher was in her vicinity. I also didn't like how Asher decided to sign a contract with her ex, especially because the way her ex talked about her was downright demeaning and filthy. Also, the whole fiasco about Harper and her dangerous relationship in the end was so shocking and felt so unnatural. All the side characters sure we're interesting but they added nothing to the plot, imo. If the relationship between Billie & Asher was less toxic and the drama was toned down, I would've enjoyed this book more but unfortunately, the execution was not up to the mark.

I’m not even sure I can find the words to properly express just how much I loved this book. This was one of the best enemies to lovers stories I have ever read. Not only do you get a hot and swoony alpha hole in Asher Banks, but you also get a fiery, strong, Queen in Billie Calloway. This pair was phenomenal!! The tension, the banter, the chemistry was off the charts!!

Billie and Asher have known each other for years and have hated one another for probably just as long. Unfortunately for Billie, Asher is BFF’s with  her brothers and is also the only person who can help her save her business. The way these two annoy one another is both hilarious at times and utterly hot AF. It’s pretty clear they have strong feeling for one another because as we all know there’s a thin line between love and hate.

Asher  stole my heart with his passion, protective nature and the way he loves. Even when he was at odds with Billie, he always respected her and her family. He often pushed himself and Billie to their limits, but always with a strong endgame in mind. I loved watching these two fight and make up. The spicy scenes definitely give ghost pepper vibes, so spice lovers rejoice! Watching Billie come into her own was magnificent to watch. I loved all the interactions between her, her brothers and Brody their cousin (The Calloway men are not to be missed). I adored her tenacity and drive. She’s absolutely a Calloway through and through! This page turner  is full  of intrigue, suspense and passion. It takes you places you didn’t expect and gives you the HEA you deserve. 5 stars aren’t enough. I’d give it a whole galaxy full. Run and get this book now! Thank you Lyra for another brilliant book full of characters I absolutely love!  Can’t wait for the next one!

“The Boss Situation” by Lyra Parish delivers all the sass, steam, and spiteful chemistry your romance-loving heart could ask for.

Billie’s fashion empire is under attack from two fronts—her petty ex and Asher Banks, the smug, sharp-tongued rival who’s been pushing her buttons since college. Now he's back, hotter than ever and just as aggravating, with a plan to either ruin her brand or—plot twist—help it, if she’ll beg. (Spoiler: she won’t.)

Asher might be besties with her older brothers, but that won’t save him from Billie’s wrath. With her company (and her inheritance) on the line, she’s not going down without a fight. And Asher? He’s about to find out Billie’s not the same girl he used to spar with.

This slow-burn enemies-to-lovers romcom is fast-paced, full of sharp comebacks, steamy standoffs, and tension so thick you could cut it with a stiletto. Billie and Asher’s chemistry snaps, and their bickering is peak entertainment. From sabotage to sizzling, every page is a good time. The ending sets up the next book perfectly—and yes, I’m already counting down to The Bodyguard Situation.

Bring on more chaos, more banter, and more Asher Banks!

Thank you @lyraparish for the #gifted ebook arc.  All opinions expressed are my own.

This book is probably my favorite of the series, so far. The chemistry the two main characters have is off the charts and their spice scenes are spicing.
The twist is rather interesting and touches in misogyny and controlling behavior by a partner (not the main characters).
Overall, the plot kept me reading one more page until I finished it. This entire series would be fantastic as dual narration audiobooks.

Billy and Asher are oil and fire there constant back and forth bickering has been and ongoing thing since College and it's only gotten worse there both from important families she's all hard edges and ice queen he's all Alpha male who needs Billy to come to him on her knees before he will help her but Billy doesn't want help. Things escalate tension grows heated arguments and even hotter kisses and one vengeful ex all complicate things between Billy and Asher and Asher has his own plans for Billy. Great enemies to Lovers romance I was allowed to read and advance copy of this book and this is my honest review I also purchased a copy as well.
