R- some sex scenes but not overly detailed, this is about where I’d draw the line on what is okay to read. The F word was also used a couple times.
This was definitely a sad, rollercoaster but real world type relationship/story and I really liked the book because of that!

It was a little clunky in the beginning, but a very interesting storyline. I can't say that I didn't call the ending right away, but most romance books are a bit predictable (and maybe thats why they are so comforting?). The whole beginning of the book felt rushed, but I guess that's the feeling you're supposed to have about the development of this relationship? I still feel like something was missing for the first 100 pages. Even though it sounds like a lot of criticism, I really enjoyed it and I finished it in a little over a day. The ending was worth the clunky start.
Another excellent book by Emily Giffin. She's become one of my favorite authors, I love her books, they're so entertaining and I can never put them down. I finished this whole book in almost a day. It was so good.

The first half of the book was so good I couldn’t put it down, then I couldn’t put it down for the second half because it was such an odd turn. Still not sure how I felt about it.
Some parts were enthralling, while others confusing. Regardless, an easy-to-pick-up read for summer.
This is a love story with secrets. Cecily is from the Midwest searching for the perfect career and relationship in NYC in 2001. She finds it but with unexpected results. There's two men that cross her path in different ways and makes one wonder what will happen. One of her lovers seems like a great guy just not ready to make a long-term commitment. After she moves on, her fantasies come to life with an incredible hunk but there's other challenges. I just wanted to climb into the novel and give her some advice. But would she listen? The book was smooth sailing but a little on the dull side.
