An absolute joy! Loved every minute of this. Very creative! The audiobook was fantastic, but now I’ll buy a print copy for my keeper shelf. Such a thoughtful, sweet, quirky read.

Really great memoir about the anonymous author of the Duchess Goldblatt twitter account. Everyone I know who read it (including myself) comes away from it loving the author, the account, and Lyle Lovett.
I started, but put it down after the 1st couple of chapters. The tone turned me off and I thought it was "cheeky".
I loved Duchess Goldblatt before this memoir of the fictional person existed.
Then along came this book by Anonymous--the person behind @DuchessGoldblatt (on Twitter).
I'm not sure what I anticipated, but everything about this slim volume exceeds that expectation. The intertwining of the voices of both Duchess and her creator as the latter reveals the loneliness, losses, grief, love and alchemy that birthed Duchess generate an even more intimate and loving connection between the reader and Duchess/Anonymous.
Anonymous offers up her own raw story with abundant generosity that invites all of us to become Duchess Goldblatt in our own ways, building community, love, relationship, friendship and goodness with her grace.

This book made me laugh and then flipped me on my head. I love Duchess Goldblatt. I think more people need to view life thru her lens.
I had no idea about the Duchess Goldblatt phenomenon, but the book was fun
What a great little book. Surprisingly sad undertone, but told with such warmth and kindness and humour. I don’t know how she did that either.
I’d not heard of Duchess Goldblatt before I saw this book on Goodreads. I’m a fan! It took me awhile to get into the audio version but once I did, I loved it. No spoilers, but if you’re also a Lyle Lovett fan (which I am), listening will mean even more.
