Wonderful. The Duchess is one of my favorites on Twitter and this look behind the scenes of the persona is fascinating and heartbreaking. Both the Duchess and her writer have a special gift for language and point of view.

I don't even have a Facebook account, but I loved this memoir of a woman who created a fictional Twitter persona while going through a stressful divorce. Sad, heartwarming, and really funny. Long live Duchess Goldblatt!

Hmm.
I knew nothing about Duchess Goldblatt when I checked this book out. But from the blurb on Amazon i was expecting witticism from a made up character. Not another memoir of how shitty my life is.
Breaking News:- "you're not he only one who has had shitty things happen".
Reading the book it is pretty easy to diagnose her, but let her pay the therapists for years.
