what utter trash. like would’ve been a fun-ish book if written well. but nah. the girl had a ridiculous amount of guys chasing her, and i genuinely couldn’t see the charm in her which compelled them.
also all the guys were not one-dimensional, but somehow still boring. and i couldn’t root for any of them, or didn’t find any of the other suitors believable enough to actually think, “oh, she might end up with him.”
it was also super obvious who the stalker was. so the suspense wasn’t there either.
did find reid’s monologues at the beginning funny, lol. the whole thing about liking men (??) or their death, was a fun bit. so one star for that.

I listened to this on audio and I was a little disappointed that although there were two narrators the girl was still doing the men's parts and the guy was doing the women's parts. It was an okay story line. The epilogue did stun me cause I just wasn't expecting it. But for the most part it doesn't feel super stalker-y to me. Almost like a reverse Harem and the stalker getting rid of those in the Harem and I just wanted to focus on the stalker versus the other men that were interested in the FMC. I also didn't like that not even just in the stalker situation but in lots of situations the FMC was kinda dumb and had no sense of self preservation, but it was alright. it was a book. I do like that when the twist happens to reveal who the stalker is, the audience can make a guess but it doesn't get revealed until it's revealed to the FMC. Twas alright lol

DNF @ 25%
There’s a confident FMC, than there’s Kyah — a pick me girl pretending to be confident and sexually awakened clearly for attention. The author just makes it worse by making every guy around her *obsessed* with her and I mean, every. guy.
I’m NOT one to DNF an audiobooks, actually I’m quite the opposite. I usually just keep listening because I don’t want to waste the energy to find another book to listen to.
And I really tried to stick it out with this one. I swear, I did because I f-ing LOVE a stalker MMC. But I never wanted to slap every character in a book more, until this book.
I’m really glad I got this during the Audible sale — because I would have been pissed if I actually paid $7.49 for the audio.
I just didn’t like the description of the killings , it really wasn’t for me
